What about celebrating your wedding in Santorini for 3 whole days! Sounds like a good idea..Well James & Laura chose this amazing Greek island to live their dream wedding with all their beloved friends and relatives. James is Greek and Laura is Italian. They were both born and raised in Australia. But somehow, the Mediterranean spirit mysteriously called their names and here they are! Getting ready for their marriage, so far from the land that raised them but so close to the land that holds their hearts.
Day one:
Romantic Sunset boat trip. What an experience..Sailing in the Caldera , swimming in the hot water of the Volcano and watch the famous Oia sunset on board. Could it be any better? Especially when everything is arranged by the incredible Sailing company Santorini Sailing Tours. Probably the best way to relax before the Big day.
Day two : Wedding day.
James begun his day in the pool with his crazy friends. After lots of games and laughter, he got prepared at the amazing terrace of his room, surrounded by his groomsmen and his father. Laura wore her Armani Wedding dress and she looked just gorgeous. Followed by her bridesmaids, her mother and the sweet flower girls she left to meet the love of her life. In front of an idyllic wedding scenery that gives you the sense that you are on the top of Caldera, James waited patiently for his second half, to come. Under the bright sun of Santorini , in such an emotional ceremony, these two became one, once and for all. Greek musicians lead the newlyweds to the venue. Oh! What a venue..in front of the Caldera , at exactly the golden sunset hour, the scenery was just breathtaking. And how couldn’t be when the venue was at the Rocabella Hotel and all the decoration and planning was at the hands of Santorini Glam Weddings. Julia and Evita did their magic once again.. Guests witnessed the most amazing sunset while taking their drink and moments after that, the couple with all their friends, laughed , cried, hugged and of course they totally rocked it at the dance floor ! Day three : The dinner
And in this way, this amazing 3-day wedding, finally came to an end.. so overwhelmed, so emotionally overloaded and so excited at the same time..this lovely big company enjoyed their last dinner at Ammoudi bay and the traditional Greek Taverna Ammoudi Fish Tavern.. So many things to talk about.. such precious moments and intense feelings.. James and Laura managed to make this 3-day dream , come true. With countless pictures, sounds and smells , our couple and all his friends packed their bags for the return trip.. Having lived an experience that you only live once in a lifetime..
