Let’s get to know Ios better…

Ios is part of cyclades, halfway between Naxos and Santorini. When one thinks of Ios his mind immediately goes to white-washed houses , turquoise clear waters and of course traditional Greek food. Another notable characteristic of Ios is its bougainvillea flowers , which they can be found all over the island . You can imagine now that Ios looks like a painting flooded with colors like blue , white and pink-violet… as for the sunset.. oh my gosh Ios sunset will leave you speechless .

He is from Norway and she is from Poland . They came all the way from Dubai where they live and work . The miles can be many but they had the best company ..their 5 years old lovely boy Fryderyk made sure to make this journey unforgettable . They both have passions… Agnieszka loves flying as she is a flight attendant and Samuli loves sailing …in fact they have a beautiful boat named FUGARTE. We can say that Greece has fascinated them as for their honeymoon they did Greek island hopping for almost the whole summer . But let’s see more about their elegant wedding in iOS..

And here we are . Another warm and sunny day in Ios . We early arrived at their beautiful and peaceful villa On the Rocks with the most breathtaking panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. They got prepared in separate rooms along with their family and friends and of course …Fryderyk who couldn’t take his eyes off his brilliant mom. Agnieszka wore her Pronovias wedding gown and her impressive Casadei heels . So elegant and confident . Ready to meet her charming man .

Friends and family gathered at Ios Club , a gorgeously chilled club ,with glorious sunset view , situated across the Chora of Ios. All the guests admired the view while waited for the couple to arrive, of enjoying cold cocktails …what’s more necessary on a hot day ? As for the decoration , an all white roses arch , made with love by Tie The Knot Santorini . Incredible decoration combined with this view and vibes …could you imagine a better summer scenery ?

The ceremony was short but emotional. After the ‘I do’ kiss , tones of white rose petals scattered everywhere. So much laughter and enthusiasm all around us. Moments that will be unforgettable both for guests and couple ..and for us as well !! With lot of excitement we left for the photoshoot .

First stop for some photos on the terrace of Ios club . We couldnt resist at this view …on the one hand the Aegean Sea and on the other the beautifull Chora of Ios , with Panagia Gremiotissa and the three other smaller churches at the background. The results was amazing. But this was only the beginning …on the righthand of the Town of Ios at a place were certainly the wind blows hard one can find the sight of some very well preserved windmills . The light was warm , the background of Chora magical and the wind showed off Agnieszka’s wedding gown so nicely . Then we walked toward the Chora . We wandered around its magical narrow streets and everyone admired this fully in love couple. At the end we went at the small port of Ios and we took some wonderfull photos on Fugante as the sun went down.

We returned to the venue right before the light disappeared. After the cake cutting we took some group photos and the energy was really amazing. Then it was time for dinner and speeches .What would be more idyllic than this dinner set up ? Roses , lights and candles everywhere and of course the view . Afterwards as the music got louder the mood was so amazing and the craziest party began . The night couldn’t have ended in a better way…an elegant wedding in Ios, a couple so in love and an island that we will never forget. How truly blessed we are !!
